MEMPHIS – Thanks in large part to a bushel of injuries that severely affected their seeding in the Western Conference, this was a very trying season for the Dallas Mavericks.
One year removed from advancing to last season’s NBA Finals, the Mavs posted a 39-43 record in the regular season, which ended Friday with a 120-106 defeat at the hands of the Memphis Grizzlies in a Western Conference tournament play-in game.
Coach Jason Kidd described this season as an, “incredible season when you look at the injuries that we had, the change.
