In a nationally televised Wednesday night game that had a little bit of everything, the Dallas Mavericks outlasted the New Orleans Pelicans and prevailed, 127-123 in overtime.
In the process, Luka Doncic became the Mavs’ career leader in triple-doubles with 22 after he finished with 30 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists. That snapped the tie Doncic had with Jason Kidd.
Also for the Mavs, Kristaps Porzingis collected 34 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks, Seth Curry scored 21 points, Tim Hardaway tallied 18 points, and Delon Wright had 10 points and five assists.
With the win, the Mavs padded their record to 38-25, and swept the season series from New Orleans, 4-0.
