DALLAS — Playing a waiting game that so often can be the NBA free agency process this summer, new Dallas Mavericks big man Quincy Acy says he eventually ended up in the perfect situation with his hometown team.
Born in Tyler, Texas, the 25-year-old Acy attended John Horn High School in Mesquite before going on to star at Baylor. He was also named to the Second Team All-Big 12 squad while garnering Big 12 All-Defensive Team honors as a senior during the 2011-12 season.
