NEW ORLEANS – The Dallas Mavericks suffered a disappointing 119-116 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night at Smoothie King Center in a game that had a controversial ending.
With the loss, the Mavs finished the first half of the season with an injury-plagued 22-19 record, while the Pelicans improved to 10-32.
