Wednesday, the Mavericks (13-10) fell to a 98-95 loss to the Atlanta Hawks to begin their homestand, putting a sour taste in their mouths after back-to-back road wins over the Washington Wizards and New York Knicks. In the process, the Mavs slipped to just 5-4 at American Airlines Center this season. Now, the Mavericks hope to collectively come together to get back in the win column Saturday night, looking to replicate Sunday’s 116-104 victory over the Wizards (9-11) as the scene shifts to Dallas.
“It’s something that we’re trying to figure out,” forward Chandler Parsons said while assessing the Mavs’ sluggish play at home.
