SAN ANTONIO – Christian Wood finished with 28 points and 13 rebounds and the Dallas Mavericks survived a scare and got out of the AT&T Center on Wednesday night with a hard-fought 137-128 overtime victory over the San Antonio Spurs.
The win snapped the Mavs’ three-game losing streak and squared their record at 35-35. They also picked up a game on the Los Angeles Lakers, who dropped to 34-36 after losing in Houston on Wednesday, 114-110.
On Friday night, the Mavs will meet the Lakers in Los Angeles in a pivotal showdown in the Western Conference.
