DALLAS — Although he admits that it was just one step in the right direction as he fights to return to playing at a high level, Dallas Mavericks small forward Chandler Parsons’ spark during the team’s 104-94 win Monday night against Phoenix could ultimately go a long way for the fifth-year pro confidence-wise.
Scoring 17 points on 5-of-10 shooting and 2 of 5 from three-point range, Parsons found an offensive groove in the second half of Monday’s matchup while clocking a season-high 28 minutes in a reserve role. Parsons also shook off a lackluster start to the game, going 0 for 3 from the field in the first half while tallying just two points.
