It’s election season and the Dallas Mavericks are empowering the community to vote.
On Tuesday, Oct. 1, the team hosted its first of several planned voter registration initiatives with a drive-thru-style event at the Mavs’ Stemmons Freeway headquarters.
“At the Dallas Mavericks we believe that every voice matters, and we encourage our fans and community to register to vote and participate in all elections from local and municipal to national elections,” said Sean Reed, the Mavericks’ director of social responsibility.
Ahead of the 2020 presidential election, the Mavs bolstered voter registration initiatives to increase accessibility and participation.
