Before embarking on a four-game road trip, the Dallas Mavericks had a little business to take care of.
And they sure took care of it.
In their first home game since the All-Star break, the Mavs had seven players score 11 or more points and they went on to rout the Minnesota Timberwolves, 139-123. The victory increased the Mavs’ record to 35-23 going into Wednesday’s game in San Antonio.
The Mavs led by 14 points after the first quarter and by 16 at intermission. It was a night where starters Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis and Tim Hardaway didn’t even score in the fourth quarter.
