DALLAS — Although their NBA journeys figure to go down different roads to start, both of the Dallas Mavericks’ selections in June’s NBA Draft say they are connected by a common goal: the desire to win.
Wednesday, the Mavericks formally introduced first-round pick Justin Anderson and second-round selection Satnam Singh in a press conference at American Airlines Center. The two are now expected to help anchor the Mavs’ summer-league squad, which begins competing in Las Vegas on Saturday.
However, according to Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle, the expectations for Anderson and Singh are quite different as the two young pros enter the league.
