The Dallas Mavericks blew an excellent chance to get this long homestand off to a great start.
Up by 16 points on Oklahoma City with 4:14 left, the Mavs made way too many mistakes and way missed too many shots during the crucial times of the game and ultimately dropped a 117-111 decision to the Thunder in overtime on Saturday night at American Airlines Center. The loss came during the opener of a five-game home stand and dropped the Mavs to 2-3 on the season.
Luka Doncic led the Mavs with 31 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists before fouling out with 17 seconds left in overtime.
