Mavs aren't yet allowed to say his name (Isaiah Roby), but they're 'elated' about their draft acquisition

At the end of a long night, in a strange twist, the Mavericks acquired a draft pick that by league rules they aren't yet allowed to specifically mention by name.

His name, according to sources, is Isaiah Roby. He's a 6-foot-8 forward from Nebraska, the first Cornhusker NBA draftee in 20 years.

The reason the Mavericks cannot mention Roby by name is that their Thursday night trade of No. 37 pick for Detroit's No. 45 pick and two future second-rounders cannot be formally completed until "sometime next week," Mavericks president of basketball operations Donnie Nelson said.
