DALLAS — While 13-time All-Star Dirk Nowitzki figures to garner the most headlines this summer as he competes with the German national team in EuroBasket 2015, the 7-footer is not the only representation the Dallas Mavericks have in international basketball this summer.
Leading the German team into battle with the group stage of EuroBasket being played in Frankfurt in September, Nowitzki will certainly shoulder a heavy load while attempting to qualify his home country for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. However, the likes of reserve guard J.J. Barea, second-year big man Dwight Powell and summer signee Salah Mejri are also making waves while competing for their respective countries this offseason.
