Mavs are in on Jimmy Butler. They probably won’t top crazy rumored offer from Rockets

The Dallas Mavericks are reportedly trying to acquire Jimmy Butler in a trade.

The Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers and Houston Rockets are also trying to swing a deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Mavericks would likely have to surrender point guard Dennis Smith Jr. or forward Harrison Barnes in a deal.

But the offer from the Rockets might top those of every other suitor.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Rockets general manager Daryl Morey has put forth an offer that includes four future first-round picks.
