Johnathan Motley hit a game-winning jump shot with 0.3 seconds left on the clock, and the Dallas Mavericks have won the Orlando Pro Summer League, clinching the franchise’s first summer crown after an 83-81 overtime win against the Detroit Pistons on Thursday.
Motley took an inbound pass from Ding Yanyuhang with 6.7 seconds left and the score tied at 81. He handed the ball off back to Ding, who drove the lane and found Motley in the middle of the paint. The rookie out of Baylor then nailed a fadeaway to put his team in front with three-tenths of a second remaining.
