The Dallas Mavericks will attempt to earn their first win of the preseason against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Tulsa tonight but will again be shorthanded.
The usual suspects remain sidelined with Dirk Nowitzki, Chandler Parsons, Wesley Matthews, JaVale McGee, Deron Williams, Dwight Powell, and Raymond Felton all sitting this one out.
No matter though, a cautious approach is still the best one with five preseason contests remaining before the season opener October 28th, and their absence will allow Rick Carlisle to again get a good look at those contending for roster and rotation spots.
