SACRAMENTO – The Mavericks new they’d get a tougher fight from the Sacramento Kings Friday night after they demolished them on Tuesday.
They were right.
But they took the Kings’ best punch and came out with a hard-fought 107-103 victory Friday night at Golden 1 Center.
Dante Exum, who had missed three consecutive shots as the Kings were daring him to shoot late in the game, nailed a three-pointer with 27.5 seconds left to put the Mavericks up 106-103.
They then forced a missed Harrison Barnes three-pointer and Luka Donu010diu0107 made the second of two free throws with 4.
