Mejri comes to the Mavs with a partially guaranteed contract.
As our own Alan Smithee noted a couple weeks ago, the Mavericks have indeed taken their search for some center depth overseas, and signed one of the guys Alan mentioned to a deal.
Earlier today, the team announced that they have signed 29 year old, 7'1 center Salah Mejri from Tunisia. Mejri will be the first Tunisian player in the NBA, as the Mavs continue their trend of trailblazing that started with drafting Satnam Singh (who would be the first Indian player in the NBA).
