Former University of Ohio big man Maurice Ndour agreed to a deal with the Dallas Mavericks, the team announced on Thursday. We'll update this post when terms of the contract are available.
Ndour had a solid Summer League stint with the New York Knicks, averaging 9.6 points and nearly five rebounds in 28.3 minutes per game with New York. ESPN New York's Ian Begley reported that the Knicks did not offer as much guaranteed money as Dallas did.
The 6-foot-9 forward (with a 7-foot-4 wingspan) from Senegal spent two years at Monroe College before transferring to Ohio, where he was an All-MAC Second Team player, averaging 16 points, 8.
