The Mavericks announced Monday that they have signed undrafted rookie Josh Reaves to a two-way contract. Together with the Antonius Cleveland signing, the Mavs have now filled both of their two-way roster spots.
After playing with the Mavericks Summer League team after going undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft, Reaves made his case for a more permanent contract with a strong showing in Las Vegas. He played in five games, starting in two, and averaged 12.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 block in 23.5 minutes.
The Mavs no doubt like when they see from Reaves on the defensive end as well.
