SALT LAKE CITY – The Mavericks said goodbye to the preseason Friday night at Vivant Arena and for a while, it looked like they weren’t wasting any regular-season silver bullets on a meaningless game.
The 3-point shooting was forgettable pretty much for the whole game, but especially so in the first half. Things came around somewhat after halftime as the Mavericks’ regulars played three full quarters, inched ahead before their night was done and allowed the reserves to finish off a 115-101 victory over the Utah Jazz at Vivant Arena.
The Mavericks finished their exhibition season 2-1.
