Not only did the Mavericks put a lid on their perfect home stand with a 143-101 win over Cleveland Friday night, they successfully navigated through arguably the easiest portion of their schedule.
The first 15 games featured nine at home and 11 that were played against teams that currently own a losing record.
The Mavericks took advantage. They sit at 10-5 and among the top five in the Western Conference.
The degree of difficulty goes up – way up – starting Sunday in Houston against the Rockets. But the Mavericks will worry about that later.
