Beaubois, who still owns a house in Frisco, has been doing rehab work at the Mavericks' facilities. He was a visitor at the Mavericks' summer-league practice Wednesday morning.
The 6-0 guard hasn't played in the NBA since 2012-13, which was his fourth season with the Mavericks. Injuries, particularly to his hand, derailed a promising start to his career after he was drafted with the 25th pick in the 2009 draft.
