The Dallas Mavericks made a couple of changes to their roster Thursday morning by signing free agents Jarrod Uthoff and Manny Harris each to a 10-day contract.
To make room for those two players, the Mavericks released point guard Quinn Cook and forward Ben Bentil, whose 10-day contract expired after Tuesday’s 122-111 triumph over the Los Angeles Lakers.
A 23-year old forward, Uthoff averaged 17.1 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 11 games this season for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the National Basketball Association Development League. The 6-foot-9, 220-pound Cedar Rapids, Iowa, native shot 54.
