Mavericks' Jeremy Evans out for season after undergoing shoulder surgery

The Mavericks announced on Thursday that forward Jeremy Evans will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder.

Evans signed with Dallas this year after five seasons in Utah. He's played in 30 games, starting in just two. He averages 2.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per game.
