Mavericks’ Jason Kidd up for Texas Sports Hall of Fame consideration

Jason Kidd is the latest Dallas Mavericks player to be considered for the Texas Sports Hall of Fame. The nominees for the 2016 Class were announced earlier this month.

Voting members of the organization determine the enshrinees, who will be announced in September.

Mavericks already enshrined include Rolando Blackman.

Other prominent Dallas athletes under consideration include Michael Young (Rangers), Larry Allen (Cowboys) and Nastia Liukin (gymnast).
