Dallas Mavericks guard Jalen Brunson had an up and down second NBA season. He started 16 games mostly when Luka Doncic was out because of injury. In 15 of those starts, Brunson averaged 12.7 points, 5.5 assists, and 3.5 rebounds. The 23-year-old point guard suffered a shoulder injury just 12 seconds into his final one.
Brunson had surgery on that shoulder in mid-March. That effectively ended his season even if play resumes.
The NBA is currently suspended because of the novel coronavirus. There is no timetable for games starting back up.
