Haralabos Voulgaris is no longer employed by the Dallas Mavericks. That’s according to a recent report from Brad Townsend of The Dallas Morning News. According to Townsend, the Mavericks “have parted ways” with Voulgaris, letting his contract expire.
Voulgaris was the center of the front office dysfunction that engulfed the Mavericks earlier this summer. The Athletic’s Tim Cato dropped a lengthy expose of the Mavericks front office power struggle on June 14, detailing how Voulgaris, then general manager and then coach Rick Carlisle, clashed over control of the team, from the direction of the roster building strategy to even lineups and rotations.
