If you're flying through the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport at some point in 2023, you will be able to stop by "Nowitzki" in Terminal C.
On Thursday, the airport announced that a bar and restaurant concept honoring Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki was approved by the airport's board. It is scheduled to open next year. The restaurant is being designed by D&B Mitchell Group. Nowitzki, who led the Mavs to their only NBA title, appears to be involved in designing the menu.
"My goal was to have a menu that reflected not only what I love to eat but also how I love to eat," Nowitzki, who played his entire 21-year career with the Mavs, said on the company's website.
