Bring on the Los Angeles Clippers.
Again.
The Mavericks finished the regular season Sunday night with a thud at Minnesota, but of greater importance was the Clippers losing at Oklahoma City, leaving them at No. 4 in the Western Conference.
That sets up the first-round best-of-seven rematch in the first round against the Clippers, who eliminated the Mavericks in six games in the first round of the bubble playoffs last summer.
Game 1 will be either Saturday or Sunday.
The Mavericks finished the regular season 42-30 after they forgot to pack their defense on the flight from Dallas and got lashed 136-121 by the Minnesota Timberwolves Sunday night at Target Center in Minneapolis.
