SACRAMENTO – A momentum-shifting possession late in the third quarter Monday night changed everything for the Mavericks.
The Sacramento Kings used four offensive rebounds on a single possession, ending with a tip-in by Domantas Sabonis. That play tilted everything in favor of the Kings, who finished the third quarter on a 17-2 roll, then cruised to a 110-100 victory over the Mavericks, who played without four-fifths of their starting lineup.
Missing were Luka Donu010diu0107, Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson and Dereck Lively II. Also out was Naji Marshall, serving the second of a four-game NBA suspension.
