NEW YORK – On a night when just about everybody was padding their 3-point shooting stats, the Mavericks finally outdueled the Brooklyn Nets at the end.
Foiled with a chance to win in regulation, the Mavericks dominated overtime Thursday night with a terrific shooting display and a monstrous triple-double by Luka Donu010diu0107 and scored a much-needed 129-125 victory over the Nets, surviving a strong night from Kyrie Irving.
The Mavericks scored 11 of the first 13 points of the overtime, including 3-pointers by Maxi Kleber and Reggie Bullock, who had missed a potential game-winner at the regulation buzzer.
