PORTLAND – With no Christian Wood to worry about, the Portland Trail Blazers threw a very huge blanket over Luka Doncic on Saturday night at the Moda Center and dared anybody else from the Dallas Mavericks to beat them.
The results: Blazers 136, Mavs 119.
These same two teams will battle it out again on Sunday at 8 p.m. in the same arena before the Mavs (24-20) return home to host the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.
The Blazers decided to double Doncic and take the ball out of his hands almost every time he touched the basketball.
