Paul George and Kawhi Leonard combined for 54 points and the Los Angeles Clippers snapped the Dallas Mavericks’ five-game winning streak Tuesday night as they emerged with a 114-99 victory at American Airlines Center.
The Mavs are now 11-6 on the season and will open a three-game road trip Friday night in Phoenix, while the Clippers improved to 13-5 and won their sixth straight game.
It was a season-low in points for the Mavs and marked the first time this season they failed to score at least 102 points in a game.
George scored 17 of his 26 points in the first quarter, while Leonard tallied 11 of his 28 points in the second quarter.
