After an 0-3 start, the Dallas Mavericks are desperate for a win. The Mavs have had two really solid games that could have gone either way, and one that could have been worse than it ended up.
That’s not to say the Mavericks are playing well though. The offense has struggled, the defense is on their heels after playing two of the fastest paced teams in the league, and Dirk Nowitzki has been out for two games without a timetable on his return.
Each game seems a little more hopeful, but Dallas has been notorious for not being able to put together a full game the last few seasons.
