Kyle Kuzma’s 36 points paced Wizards to 113-105 win over Mavs

WASHINGTON — Although they talked beforehand about the dangers of what happened Thursday night at Capital One Arena, the Dallas Mavericks still proceeded to fall victim to another short-handed opponent.

The Washington Wizards were without their top two scorers – Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis. But they still had enough resources in reserve to defeat the Mavs, 113-105. It was the second straight loss for the Mavs, who fell to 6-5 and will open a five-game homestand Saturday against Portland.

Spencer Dinwiddie paced the Mavs with a season-high 30 points and six assists, Luka Doncic finished with 22 points, nine rebounds and six assists, Tim Hardaway Jr.
