NEW YORK - After putting in so much work in the offseason to show that his dismal outside shooting as a rookie would not become the norm, Justin Anderson is at a loss for why he is having a disastrous start to with his shot.
The second-year swingman bottomed out on Monday with an 0-for-11 shooting night in a 93-77 loss to the New York Knicks, dropping the Mavericks to 2-7. Anderson looked tentative at times and his shot simply looked broke.
At times like this, it's not so much about a young player going through this slump.
