DALLAS — Although the shorthanded Dallas Mavericks have yet to notch their first win during the exhibition schedule, the team has seen the emergence of a player that could step into the rotation and contribute during the upcoming season.
Hampered by injuries during the early stage of the preseason, the Mavericks (0-3) have dropped games to Denver, Houston and Oklahoma City by double digits. However, one player that has stood out in all three games has been sharpshooter John Jenkins, who has quickly shown why the Dallas front office coveted him during free agency this summer.
