J.J. Barea will miss about a month and a half with a torn muscle between his calf and the tendon, according to ESPN.
Barea hurt himself during the fourth quarter of the Mavs-Celtics game, where he went down with what appeared to be a lower leg injury. The Mavericks are calling it a left calf strain for Barea. As he turned the corner on a screen he fell to the floor and grabbed his left calf, needing assistance to leave the floor.
Dallas also lost Deron Williams to a calf strain that he aggravated in the first half.
