DALLAS -- It comes as no surprise that a 2011 NBA Finals hero came up with a couple of dominant performances when the Dallas Mavericks desperately needed them to keep fighting for one of the West’s final playoff spots.
But who would have guessed that they’d come from J.J. Barea?
The itty-bitty guard has come up big, allowing Dallas to put a couple of wins together despite a pair of dreadful shooting performances by Dirk Nowitzki, another guy who had a pretty good playoff run en route to the 2011 championship parade.
