Jeremy Evans Out for the Season After Surgery

According to Yahoo’s Marc Spears, Jeremy Evans had arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder to repair a torn labrum.

Evans has consistently found himself being listed as inactive for the Mavericks as Carlisle elects to dress Charlie Villanueva and Dwight Powell at the reserve forward spots instead. With the shortened rotation for the Mavs recently, even if Evans found himself dressing on a nightly basis, he probably wouldn’t be hitting the floor anytime soon.

Evans is averaging just 2.4 ppg and 1.8 rpg on just 8.4 minutes a game.

He signed a two-year, veterans minimum deal with Dallas over the summer.
