Monday night turned into a get-right game for the Dallas Mavericks. And they promptly got things right with a 110-102 victory over the Utah Jazz at American Airlines Center.
After losing Saturday night in Phoenix by 12 points, the Mavs wanted to make sure they got back on track before hitting the road and playing Tuesday night in Minnesota. And with the triumph over the Jazz, the Mavs were able to pad their record to 2-1, while the Jazz remained winless at 0-3.
Kyrie Irving led the Mavs with 23 points, six rebounds and nine assists, Klay Thompson scored 18 points, Luka Donu010diu0107 finished with 15 points, nine rebounds, eight assists and three steals, and Dereck Lively II collected 14 points and three blocks.
