Here’s the press release that was issued Sunday by the Dallas Mavericks’ public relations department in regards to the 2020-’21 training camp.
In light of the ongoing pandemic, the Dallas Mavericks will not host a traditional Media Day at the start of training camp for the 2020-21 season. Instead, Dallas will host Mavericks Media Week, and availabilities will take place over the course of five days during the NBA’s individual workout period.
Media Week will be held Dec. 1-5, and will consist of virtual media availabilities via Zoom. The Mavericks basketball communications department plans to make head coach Rick Carlisle and at least 10 players available throughout the week.
