The Mavericks announced Thursday that they have re-signed Theo Pinson, the swingman who became known in the playoffs as a huge morale booster and one of the few players in NBA history to force a turnover without playing in a game.
The 6-5 Pinson played 19 games for the Mavericks last season, averaging 2.5 points in just under 8 minutes per game.
But his biggest contributions came in the playoffs. As a player on a two-way contract, he was not eligible to play in the postseason, but he was a great influencer from the sidelines.
