DALLAS — Although it’s an underrated part of the game that can go unnoticed, improved footwork is what Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle says separates good players from great players.
Hoping to tap into new addition Harrison Barnes’ full potential this upcoming season, Carlisle plans to work tirelessly on making the proper adjustments to the 24-year-old budding star’s footwork in order for him to emerge as a top offensive option. The coach also already began working with Barnes on improving his footwork before the versatile forward left for the Rio Olympic Games with Team USA.
