PHILADELPHIA — After sliding back into the lineup Wednesday to help lead his team to a 112-107 road win over Washington following a three-game absence due to left knee soreness, Dallas Mavericks midseason addition Nerlens Noel makes his much-anitcipated return to Philadelphia on Friday night.
Scoring 12 points off the bench Wednesday night as the Mavericks (29-38) rallied for a victory to improve to 1-1 on their current four-game road trip, Noel helped his new team bounce back from consecutive losses. The 22-year-old big man will now try to have an impact against his former team after being acquired from Philadelphia during a trade-deadline deal in exchange for veteran center Andrew Bogut, second-year swingman Justin Anderson and a protected first-round pick.
