Taking the floor without 13-time All-Star Dirk Nowitzki during the second half of Friday’s game due to right Achilles soreness, the Mavericks will now rest the 13-time All-Star for a minimum of seven days as he nurses his way back to 100 percent. Meanwhile, the Mavs will attempt to lift themselves out of a five-game losing skid to begin the season, hosting an up-and-coming Milwaukee Bucks squad Sunday at American Airlines Center.
