DALLAS — Returning home after capturing their first victory in San Antonio since the 2010-11 championship campaign, the Dallas Mavericks will now attempt to conclude a difficult back-to-back by avenging their most lopsided loss of the season.
Led by sharpshooter Seth Curry’s career highs with 24 points and 10 rebounds, the Mavericks (17-30) outlasted the Southwest Division rival Spurs on Sunday to capture a 105-101 victory. In the process, the Mavs seized their first win in San Antonio since Nov. 26, 2010, ending a 12-game losing streak at AT&T Center. Now, the Mavericks hope that success carrying over to Monday’s rematch against the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers.
