DALLAS — Returning to American Airlines Center after dropping their last three games, the Dallas Mavericks hope to make up ground during a three-game homestand that begins Monday night against the Washington Wizards.
Falling to a 107-101 overtime loss the last time they where on their home floor Jan. 13 against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Mavericks (15-31) then suffered a 105-102 defeat last Tuesday in Denver and a 117-108 loss at Portland on Saturday. The Mavs will now attempt to get on track on their home hardwood during the next three games. But after outscoring the Trail Blazers 63-55 in the second half of Saturday’s defeat, coach Rick Carlisle says it’s imperative that the Mavericks get off to a fast start Monday against the Wizards (26-20).
