TORONTO — Using a total team effort to sprint past the Southwest Division rival Memphis Grizzlies en route to a 97-88 victory at home Friday night, the Dallas Mavericks now hope to see similar success during a difficult back-to-back on the road.
Seeing six scorers finish in double figures led by 13-time All-Star Dirk Nowitzki’s 20 points on 7 of 13 from the field, the Mavericks (15-12) had plenty of offensive support in order to even the season series with the Grizzlies at 1-1.
